David Nabarro
David Nabarro is a Partner of Dial Partners LLP.
David is a long-time, City of London based, FSA regulated professional now working independently as a director of both corporate finance advisory firm, Cato Strategic and investment company, MathEngine PLC
He was for two years till April 2010 a director of Ambrian Partners, the specialist natural resource UK stockbrokers, following their acquisition of Nabarro Wells, the well known and successful, independent, City based corporate finance house he founded in 1990.
Previously he was an individual member of the London Stock Exchange, and worked at the stock broking firms of Laurie Milbank as a partner (1971 – 1986) and Prudential Bache Capital Funding as an executive director (1987 – 1990). Between 1983 and 1990 he managed a discretionary UK equities portfolio for George Soros’ Quantum Fund.
David was from its founding in 1995 until 2009 active as a Nomad on AIM. He has served as a non-executive director of a number of public companies and has advised numerous companies, both public and private, on stock exchange listings, acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs and the sourcing of institutional and private capital.
