Joel joined Dial Partners office in August 2023 and currently works as part of the execution team across a variety of sectors.

Previously, he worked for five years in private asset valuations at S&P Global (via its acquisition of IHS Markit in 2022). He valued illiquid debt for investors in corporate mid-market loans, direct lending, infrastructure debt and distressed and special situations. In this role, Joel also valued private equity positions for clients investing across VC, growth stage and mature companies and helped develop data management and processing tools within the team. 

Joel is a CFA® Charterholder (2022) and graduated from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, Canada with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
